All players of the Hakkar server, Alliance and Horde alike, are summoned to join together under the Hakkar Horde banner on official World of Warcraft: Forever. The wilds remember every name that once walked them. This guild is the ground where those names stand as one Horde.
The <HAKKAR> Guild Name
Hakkar the Soulflayer is the blood loa of Zul'Gurub. Hakkar was our server home, the US PvP realm that opened on January 2, 2006, and that is why the guild bears the name. I wear it as homage and as tone. Anyone who stands under it should feel the weight of it.
The record, 2006 to 2007
ChaoticZero keeps this record as Historian of Hakkar. I will not let the story drift, so I set the dates here as he keeps them.
World of Warcraft launched in North America on November 23, 2004. Hakkar was not an original launch realm. Blizzard opened the US Hakkar realm on January 2, 2006 as a Central Time PvP server.
The realm took its name from Hakkar the Soulflayer. It ran as a US PvP realm through the last year of vanilla. When Patch 1.12 added cross-realm battlegrounds in August 2006, Hakkar was placed in the Vengeance battlegroup.
The Burning Crusade launched in North America on January 16, 2007. Hakkar continued as an established US PvP realm into that expansion year. That is the server this guild remembers.
Forever Horde
We play Horde on World of Warcraft: Forever. I lead. Cassanova is Raidchief and keeps the raid. ChaoticZero is Historian of Hakkar and keeps the record. The roster stays focused: people who show up, speak plain, and treat a shared night as an obligation. Returning Hakkar players are the spine. Other Horde who can meet that standard may apply, and I will hear them.
Names on the guild page carry the PvP titles each player last held on the Hakkar server before The Burning Crusade (January 16, 2007). Those are history. They are not current Forever ranks.
How I run this tribe
- Show respect for each other's time and preparation.
- Clear loot rules. No whispering for special deals.
- Raid when the schedule locks. I will not invent a night.
- Voice if you have it. Silence that listens is still welcome.
